Donating to the RQMO helps us pursue our mission which is to support and inform all people affected by rare diseases in Quebec.

People with rare diseases often have a difficult journey. Through our IRARE Centre, we offer personalized help to many affected people, parents of affected children and other caregivers. We organize conferences of interest for affected people and their families. The RQMO has also worked hadr since its creation to obtain a Rare Disease Strategy for Quebec. This resulted in the adoption of a Policy and an Action Plan for rare diseases by the MSSS in 2023. We also provide information on research progress and the development and availability of treatments.

But the most imporant part of our role is being there to listen because we know the difficulties these people face.

Every little gesture counts to help families affected by a rare disease. Together we can all contribute.
