Announcing a parternship: Clinical Trials Simplified and the Regroupement québécois des maladies orphelines join forces to accelerate the development of new therapies for rare diseases.
Clinical Trials Simplified (CTS) and the Regroupement québécois des maladies orphelines (RQMO, Quebec Coalition of Orphan Diseases) announce the establishment of a joint partnership to help patients suffering from rare diseases across the province find clinical trials. This partnership aims to accelerate the development of new therapies for rare diseases that affect close to 500,000 people in Quebec.
CTS is an organisation whose mission is to help the Canadian patient suffering from an incurable disease find a clinical trial that matches his/her medical condition. To participate in a clinical trial on a rare disease, please complete the registration form on clinicaltrialssimplified.com. For more information, please contact CTS at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 1-888-982-2782.
The RQMO’s mission is to provide information and support to people with rare and orphan diseases and their caregivers through its Rare Disease Information and Resource Centre. Information on any rare disease is transmitted by a professional (information in lay language, management guidelines, specialized clinics, research projects, etc.) and support is given through listening, help in navigating the health system, referrals to community and government services, and matching with other individuals or families with the same disease.
